Hey There!I’m that guy that loves physical labor, logistics and problem solving, and being outside. Check out some highlights:I was fortunate to grow up with nature at my backdoor. From an early age I was allowed to explore the woods, streams, rivers and fields of rural Ohio. “Be back by dinner” was the expectation, but not always the case : ) It was an ideal situation to cultivate my imagination and love for nature. After 44 years of hiking, backpacking, paddling, biking, swimming, rock climbing, and being creative, I’m still getting after it! My desire to learn and gain new knowledge and understanding of our planet led me to obtain an associates degree in Applied Sciences from Hocking Technical College in Fish and Wildlife Management (2002). Also, a Bachelors of Arts degree from The Ohio State University in International Studies with a focus on Latin America (2006). I’m thankful for the past opportunities to travel/backpack/study/work abroad from Northern Ontario’s Algonquin National Forest, to the Galapagos, Ecuador, and points in between.Starting in 2006, and for over 15+years I worked with a non profit primary care medical clinic in Columbus Ohio. I helped there in various capacities from Spanish Interpreter/Caseworker, Call Center Supervisor, Social Services Coordinator, Facilities/Maintenance Supervisor, Staff Photographer, and implementing/managing the clinic’s 1/4 acre community garden.So that’s a little bit about what I bring to a project. I’ve been describe as a “Jack of All Trades”, and “go with the flow” kinda dude. I’ve worked with The Nature Conservancy, Biohabitats, and American Farmland Trust to visually document environmental restoration projects that highlight the importance of clean water, sustainable agriculture, and the protection of our natural heritage. My love of nature, thirst for knowledge, and desire to help continue to guide my goal to create imagery that will inspire, captivate, and emotionally connect people to their environment.And! And, one more thing. I AM A MUSIC FANATIC! All of it, I have playlists on playlists on playlists. Oh, and I Love my family too! I’m thoroughly enjoying being a father, and sharing life with my partner/wife/sweet sweetie. Plus, my friends are all the best ever and play a BIG role in supporting me. Thanks!
