Providing Design and manufacturing services for various local companies, generally as follows: Food Manufacturing Company in High Wycombe Product design and development for machinery used in the processing of meats and other food types. Manufacture of prototypes and subsequent development pre-production. Design work on their range of existing products. Specialist Work holding Company in Oxfordshire Design and manufacture of bespoke machine tooling, work holding and component fixtures for turnkey CNC and automated cell manufacturing machinery packages. This included modifications to the machinery and controls. Special Purpose Machinery manufacturer in High Wycombe Concept design of special purpose machinery, mainly for the automotive sub-contract supply industry. Technologies included CNC machinery design of linear and rotary axis. Pick and place units for automatic component loading and unloading from the machines. Designs incorporated all the necessary controls including sensors, pneumatic, hydraulic and close liaison with electrical control engineers. Liaison with clients at all times for technical queries, design approval and ultimate customer acceptance of the finished machinery.

Commenced employment as Product Engineer, promoted to Senior Product Engineer and Team Leader of the Standard Product Engineering Department in October 1995. Product Engineer, reporting to the Standard Product Engineering Supervisor. Working in an engineering department responsible for a range of high speed bookbinding machinery, dealing with customer quality issues and also supporting the machine and assembly build shops dealing with any issues with product build, kitting of parts etc. Additionally, since October 1995 I was responsible for the analysis, prioritisation, scheduling and management of all work carried out by the Standard Product Engineering Department.
