Team Leader, Wal-Mart, Bentonville, AR (2000 – 2008)Managed sales and forecasting for all items for Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club, representing $100MM-120MM in total sales of 36 skus on Vitamin and Mineral Supplements (VMS) modular. Led a cross-functional team comprised of Director of Sales for Sam’s Club, Wal-Mart/McLane Forecasting & Ordering Coordinator, Sam’s Club Inventory & Forecast Coordinator, and a Brand Manager for Private Label Sales. Analyzed POS sales data against competitors’ pricing and display activities to identify impact on weekly sales vs. forecast.  Reported results as well as P&L for the combined Wal-Mart, McLane and Sam’s Club accounts. Worked directly with the VP of Marketing to ensure that branded marketing programs would not compete with private label sales and promotions

Recruited to identify private label bid opportunities to build annual private label sales to Wal-Mart from $123K to $30MM within 3 years. Managed the manufacturing setup for label integrity and formulation compliance as established by Wal-Mart. Generated product forecast and promotional recommendations to the buyer for all private label items.
