I pride myself as being an Information Technology Professional, with extensive and varied experience in large scale mining companies along with smaller service provider organisations.My current role requires that I engage with senior management to understand the current business development strategies and how IT can be aligned to assist. In addition manage escalations, process governance and facilitate meaningful interactions between technical teams and business elements.In past years I have put to good use my specialist skills in project management, include total ground up budgeting, project planning, equipment procurement, implementation, providing critical updates and planned information sessions for project Stakeholders. My aim is to always deliver the final project on time and under budget.I have the design skills, along with a proven ability, to carry out strategic infrastructure planning to develop solutions to be flexible and innovative. I’m always looking for new and better ways to provide practical user-friendly systems that will deliver “value” to the business by meeting business operational requirements. I am able to deliver projects detailed project plans right through from inception to execution and to project closure.I have gained experience in a variety of locations ranging from extremely remote areas of Australia to metropolitan locations. I have the ability to problem solve quickly and on a large scale, think on my feet and look for alternatives along with being much more proactive in these projects instead always being reactive. I believe in always challenging the people working for me and myself to look at how we can do it better, can we deliver a project faster, is there financially a better way. Our industry is always evolving and as a Technology Professional it is critical I keep up with the latest technology. By doing this it can help me to continually improve.
