My role is to provide leadership in delivering the site performance contract through ensuring that the installation is operated and maintained in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the government and company regulations, policies, procedures and Apache core expectations.My responsibilities are to: Liaise with the site Production department on all maintenance activities to ensure delivery of site production targets by maximizing equipment uptime and ensuring that equipment is maintained in optimum condition. Leadership of the Maintenance Team, including management of training, competence and development (including appropriate stand-in training). Ensures the highest standard of housekeeping is maintained throughout the plant. Co-ordination of shift personnel requirements (e.g. leave, sickness cover & rota’s) and ensure optimum shift strength and numbers. Lead team to manage production up and costs down, by encouraging and implementing new ideas, learning’s and smarter practices in line with Aim Up initiative. Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) sessions when required to determine the cause of plant trips or equipment failures. Plan, lead, organize and deliver all Maintenance activities. Conduct staff technician appraisals. Performance manage contract technician, vendor performance. Conduct daily worksite visits verifying work safety, quality and compliance with ISSOW. Promote safety by personal presence on site and conducting safety audits. Comply with the site environmental policies and procedures and take an active role in environmental improvements.
