Given any opportunity, I am confident that my experience and personable disposition would be an asset to any organization. I have a vast industrial experience in proposal and project management in the agribusiness field, together with donor and partnership management skills.I have many years of working directly with people in diverse professional settings, and I am seekingto leverage my experience in NGO's mostly because of helping local communities. I have a BSc. in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering from JKUAT. After graduation I was able to begin my own start-up "Janabichi Agri Solutions" that helps in consultation for farmers in horticulture and aquaculture spaces. During my interaction with farmers I was able to engage with donors like MasterCard Foundation and KCB Foundation. These stakeholder engagements led to creation of farmer cooperatives where I wrote proposals for some of them and got awarded grants to improve the farmer's livelihoods. This happened when I was the Finance and Agribusiness Project Officer at Afriponics Marketing Cooperative Society.I have developed professionally over 7 years, while atthe same time upholding the rights, dignity and well-being of farmers which remains paramountto such communities. Much of my experience is transferable, specifically in areas of developingconcept notes, proposals, project reports in Agribusiness fields.
