David is a SAFe 6 Program Consultant (SPC), Certified Scrum Master and AgilePM Practitioner. Through over 15 years of working across various government departments and private sector companies his dedication, enthusiasm and resourcefulness has allowed him to be entrusted with senior responsibilities working to key directors within the organisations, the wider British government and to international stakeholders. He has built up a wide range of project management, technical and negotiation skills enabling him to rise to new challenges and bring projects in on time, budget and to a high standard. Whilst his people skills allow him to fit in easily to smaller teams and gain respect from key members of larger groups. His latest role allowed him to demonstrate his skills of coaching a team to transition from Agile and waterfall practices into SAFe and run a successful first PI planning.Accomplishments• Single-handedly conducted RTE, Data Analyst, Business Analysis and Business Change activities on a project for a government client to meet a hard-externally set deadline, including the reassessment of 500 datasets and comprehension of complex legal documentation and co-ordination of 13 BAU teams. The project completed on time within 1% of budget and received praise from DG level.• Brought together the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Scientific Advisers from across government (along with 50 other attendees including US stakeholders) to discuss how the UK would deal with a pandemic hitting the military and the international response the UK should take in collaboration with partners. Resulting in a well-received final report and strengthened collaboration across government.• FCO lead at all Brazilian Embassy meetings in the lead up to the 2012 Olympics and led foreign VIP delegations on key security and immigration meetings at Old Trafford and Heathrow airport. David’s support and language skills were appreciated by the head of department and visiting delegation.
