Responsible for the proper invoicing of Moody’s Structured Finance Line of Business, with a focus on accurate, timely, and complete revenue recognition in a high volume setting.• Review and approve between 500 and 1,000 initial and monitoring fee invoices for domestic and international Structured Finance ratings on a monthly basis using Moody's proprietary invoicing system which syncs with PeopleSoft General Ledger.• Review complex contracts provided by the Pricing and Legal teams to understand dynamic fee calculations and revenue recognition for the different business sectors in Structured Finance such as Residential Mortgage Backed Securities, Asset Backed Securities and Derivatives.• Generate and analyze revenue data reports pulled from Moody’s proprietary invoicing system using Excel on a weekly and monthly basis as part of Moody’s key controls and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations on internal controls.• Compile and analyze thousands of lines of arrears accrual data on monitoring fee revenue using pivot tables in Excel for accurate revenue recognition.• Prepare revenue data and unbilled revenue reports in Excel each month for the purpose of finalizing the month-end close.• Participate in IT projects such as the maintenance and testing of the current billing system and the implementation of a new billing system in the near future.• Regularly attend Harvard sponsored training courses at Moody’s in Accounting and Finance.
