Line Manage a small team of venue duty managers and approx. 50 casual front-line staff and Team Leaders including their recruitment, induction, training, monitoring, development and appraisal.Satisfy all Health & Safety, security, cash handling, Legal & Licensing requirements, and act as Personal Licence Holder for 1,400 seat prestigious Concert Hall and 400 seat Theatre visited by over 150k per annum.Act as Show Duty Manager, responding to all customer access needs and public safety, always ensuring high standards of presentation, reconciling all sales and preparing nightly show reports.Produce staff rotas in accordance with staffing budgets to meet both licensing and show requirements for service excellence.Direct all stock movement, including ordering to meet changing demand, promoting sales, stock management including monthly stock takes and managing all EPoS tills and software.Effectively plan and organise all shows and events for both venues, referencing information from the Programmer, event contracts and riders.Conduct and review departmental written Risk Assessments, including dynamic assessments as required.Maintain good relationships with visitors and visiting companies ensuring safe working practices, and to provide safety briefings and conduct fire drills for community hirers.Assist with the delivery of venue tours in conjunction with the Community Officer.
