As an IT Specialist, I oversee critical IT operations to ensure stable, secure, and efficient network functionality. My role involves managing Active Directory to control user access, configuring and deploying workstations, and providing advanced technical support through tools like ConnectWise, phone, and desk-side assistance. I work primarily with Windows OS, configuring and troubleshooting systems for optimal performance, and regularly manage Cisco Meraki switches and the network dashboard to monitor and maintain secure data, voice, video, and wireless services. Printer deployment and management, including troubleshooting and maintenance, are part of my daily tasks to support large teams.I am also responsible for VMWare and on-premise server administration, as well as cybersecurity by providing frontline defense and monitoring network health. Additionally, I handle cabling tasks such as setting up Ethernet connections and configuring wall jacks, ensuring seamless connectivity throughout the hotel. I manage SLAs through a ticketing system and actively collaborate with department managers to support IT projects, optimize operations, and meet organizational needs.
