I am a biomedical engineer and scientific consultant with a decade of experience performing translational, preclinical, and clinical research in the fields of regenerative medicine, oncology, diagnostic and interventional radiology, and dental therapeutics. I am currently the chief science officer for Biolectrics LLC (Cleveland, Ohio), a biotech startup developing an electrostimulation-based device platform for the treatment of periodontal disease and other oral maladies. I am also a research instructor in the Department of Periodontics and Endodontics of the School of Dental Medicine at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York (Buffalo, New York). My main career and research focus is on the development of diagnostic and therapeutic technologies for diseases and conditions that are challenging to treat. As an independent consultant and young investigator, I have worked with teams in both industry and academia to design, execute, analyze, and build upon clinical trials in both medical and dental fields. I have a diverse experiential background, maintain a track record of effective interdisciplinary collaboration, and have a firm understanding of the physical and mental demands required to conduct clinical trials successfully.
