I am a seasoned corporate lawyer and business strategist with over 20 years of experience with American Family Insurance Group, a Fortune 500 company and one of the largest property and casualty insurers in the US. As the Lead Counsel of Adjacency Holdings, an internal build studio and M&A team of American Family Insurance, I provided legal counsel and strategic advice to leaders and portfolio companies on a range of matters, including commercial transactions, corporate governance, regulatory affairs, and litigation management. I reported directly to the President and dotted line to the portfolio company CEOs, and oversaw a $250M portfolio of innovative and diverse businesses.Prior to that, I directed the Legal and Compliance departments for three insurance companies within the American Family Insurance Group, with a combined annual premium revenue of approximately $4B. I led a team of attorneys and compliance professionals, and collaborated with business units and external partners on various initiatives and projects.
