Manufacturing Value Engineer responsibilities include but are not limited to supporting one or more manufacturing sites for the Patient Recovery (PR) division. This includes identifying, supporting and leading sustaining and value engineering related cost savings projects, manufacturing process improvements, and product line transfers. Communicates technically with service vendors and component suppliers to resolve technical issues in the manufacturing sites and develop proposals for cost savings. Collaborates with Quality Assurance, Sales, Marketing, R&D and the final customer to effectively manage process changes and resolve production issues.

Principal Manufacturing Engineer responsible for leading the successful implementation of multiple packaging initiatives and in the development, design, validation and project management of packaging projects, including new packaging designs, material conversions, packaging equipment procurement lifecycle and Quality and Regulatory compliance. Provide expertise and guidance in the various areas of packaging to the department internal and external business partners.

Seasoned Project Engineer with authority to make overall technical decisions and direct others relative to completing process and project engineering tasks related to new product trials, process improvement, equipment upgrades and new/used equipment installations. Present detailed project summaries to senior-level management and conduct post- implementation analysis to determine areas for program improvement. Detailed technical writing of deliverables including timelines, work plans, quality documents, health and safety procedures, validation reports and project correspondence.

Process Engineer with technical leadership in a profitability/efficiency team in charge of reducing production waste and downtime in food and medical packaging industry. Six Sigma Black Belt responsible for providing support to enhance quality, improve delivery, and reduce costs through product/process improvement, operator training, and equipment selections/installation. Troubleshoot and resolve both short term and long term manufacturing problems that impede quality or cost effectiveness. Ensure existing and new products can be manufactured on robust and cost-effective processes by optimizing process settings and procedures.
