The Hematology Clinical Trials Unit (HCTU) Research Services Assistant Manager is responsible for the implementation and coordination of clinical trials conducted by hematology faculty members at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.

I managed and oversaw all clinical research related to Air Methods, ensuring compliance with evidence-based medicine practices and regulatory standards. Delivered key advancements in critical care, focusing on new and improved products and practices. I also established process to effectively monitor research applications throughout time frame, maintaining adherence to required deadlines.I provided guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practices and Government standards. I ensured all new employees were properly oriented to the company’s culture and processes through cross-functional training. I employed multiple collection data points to help describe the airway and the success or failure of the attempts. Database remains in use for collection and publications.Trained under Dr. John Sakles who is a world-renowned airway expert and has been on the forefront of research in new technologies, particularly the role of video laryngoscopy for emergency intubation. He has published numerous articles in the field of emergency airway management, including on such topics as video laryngoscopy, airway pharmacology, surgical airway management and remotely assisted “telebation.”

I researched international health threats and conducted medical threat briefings for deploying personnel.I provided care for injured troops and foreign nationals in austere conditions. I delivered casualty care in a safe manner with limited oversight.I received the Combat Action Badge and the Army Commendation Medal while deployed overseas. I also trained peers in California on an updated version of tactical casualty combat care.

I executed full scope of practice of CEP for Arizona and assisted RN/MD with patient care.I taught local area EMS system helicopter operations.I conducted research and review of Videoscopic Airway Devices.
