Briefly, I was involved at the head waters of the 777 in the Design-Build Team. Later, I became a member of the 737 Next-Gen. I served as a Quality Engineer, and facilitated understandings between manufacturing and the FAA DMIR regarding Airworthiness. As a result of my efforts in the latter activity, I received 20 shares of Boeing stock for working over and above my defined job description.

I served in Ubon Thailand with the 16th SOS AC-130s, Pope AFB, Davis-Monthan AFB, CCK Taiwan with the 374th TAW, Kadena Okinawa with the 18th TFW, Langley AFB, and honorably discharged from McChord AFB. I served in the Oregon ANG 142d FIG, and Air Force Reserve Unit. After a five-year two-month hiatus I rejoined the USAF in 1983 and served four years on Williams AFB. My entire tenure was in aircraft maintenance and Quality Assurance. I honorably discharged from the USAF in April 1987.
