I have enjoyed working in various organizational roles beginning as an embedded software engineer developing mission critical software, then advancing through various leadership roles including within engineering, product, general and operational management. I like to see the big picture, then roll-up my sleeves and contribute wherever necessary to realize a worthwhile goal.Customer facing activities bring me great satisfaction. Whether it's a focus group or a sales demo, through the voice of the customer there is so much to learn about the market and to spark product/ business innovation. This is where imagination renders ideas and a vision. I enjoy understanding the customer and their needs, researching the market/competition/technology, then working together with other disciplines across the business to define/analyze/build and deliver solutions that will lead to improvement for both the customer and the business. I have spent most of my career developing new and clinically relevant products that facilitate healthcare in the areas of clinical education, patient monitoring, patient throughput, and decision support. During this time, I have enjoyed working with a community of talented clinicians, engineers and business professionals bringing to market solutions that improve outcomes and elevate quality of care. On this journey I have contributed to the success and growth of both startup and mature companies.
