Inma Agribusiness Program• Conducting a food security assessment of Iraq and testing the limits of cereal self-sufficiency. Assessing economic impacts of targeted policy and development interventions. Developed a wheat production model to delimit constraints of production and growth. Fiscal Impact Analyses•Conducted fiscal impact assessments of a number of residential and mixed-used developments, including transit-oriented developments for private developers. Gained an understanding of municipal budgets and finance, demographic impacts, tax-sharing formulas, and real-estate pro formas. Historic Preservation and Cultural Heritage• Contributing author to Route 66: Economic Impacts Study which demonstrated the economic impacts of historic preservation, tourism, and Main Street initiatives on communities along the historic highway. • Contributing author to the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s first and second Annual Report onthe national and state economic impacts of the federal historic tax credit.

Completed two-year case study of three “green” homes in Monmouth County, NJ, including a comparative utility bill analysis, home software modeling, life-cycle costing analysis (LCC), and qualitative data collection from homeowners. Demanded competency in data manipulation, regression analysis, and strong writing skills to effectively communicate technical information. Contributed smaller case studies to a green building manual.

Researched, developed and implemented national marketing and solicitation strategy to expand individual support. Recommended increased focus on online fundraising and communication; resulted in improved website and online outreach strategy.
