Providing Compliance Solutions to NCAA Division I II & III institutions regarding admissions, initial & continuing academic eligibility , financial aid, academic progress rate reports (APR), graduation success rate reports (GSR) mandatory institutional & NCAA reports, eligibility waivers, 5 year eligibility extension waivers, NCAA infractions and institutional investigations as well as day to day operations compliance responsibilities. Also, leading & managing all aspects of Equal Opportunity & Title IX compliance obligations.

Lead assisted & guided the Institution through the NCAA Infractions process related to violations within the Football Program which occurred over a 3 year period.• Created conduct and lead bi-weekly coach education sessions to aid in the continued development of a proactive coach and compliance environment.• Performed in-depth research and analysis to correctly interpret results of NCAA legislation and Southland Conference rules while maintaining files of past interpretations for future reference. • Assisted the different coaching staffs with all admissions-related activities including early academic evaluations and NCAA academic and amateurism eligibility.• Approved all official and unofficial recruiting visits, communicating details about all visit activities to the department and university’s colleagues.• Tracked and maintained documentation of all off-campus recruiting, contacts, and evaluations and administer the annual coaches’ certification exam.• Processed and distributed all renewals and non-renewals, support student-athletes with all financial aid issues and questions and audit all student-athlete aid, including non-athletics aid, to determine NCAA permissibility. • Served as a liaison between the Office of Financial Aid and the coaching staff to review and submit completed Early Financial Read Applications, communicating decisions in a timely manner. • Administered the Student Assistance Fund (SAF) and disbursed stipends and reimbursements for student-athletes who qualified for access to the fund. • Created and distributed National Letter of Intent (NLI) and Grant-in-Aid documents as requested by coaching staffs, ensuring that they fell within the NCAA equivalent/headcount maximums and sports scholarship budget.• Led and coordinated the NCAA and institutional drug testing program. • Drafted and submitted all initial and continuing eligibility waivers to obtain exceptions to NCAA rules for current and prospective student-athletes.

• Directed and continually enforced the university’s athletic department compliance efforts with the NCAA, the conference, and university. • Continually monitored procedures related to athletic recruiting, institutional sports camps and clinics, awards/benefits, playing, practice sessions, championships, and post-season competition for 11 intercollegiate sports. • Oversaw compliance rules, educational programs, and the interpretations associated with assigned bylaws.• Disseminated new bylaw legislation through a monthly newsletter and scheduled meetings.• Supported the preparation and production of educational materials, reports, handbooks, and compliance manuals for coaches, staff, and student-athletes. • Served as a liaison to coaches, faculty, staff, and student-athletes while maintaining student-athlete compliance files.

• Served as a consultant to Division I & II institutions for research, data collection, analysis, and feasibility studies.• Worked in collaboration with businesses and organizations to raise money for a number of charity events. • Helped businesses create strong, collaborative client relationships through both sports events and athletics.

• Taught a graduate sports management course in collaboration with Dr. Tripps.• Provided student education in Sports Human Resources, examining human resources management and its role in sports organizations, and emphasized leadership and its critical role in the effectiveness of sports organizations.• Worked in collaboration with sports professionals to provide students with real-world insights including the GM from the Seattle Supersonics, the Senior Women’s Administrator from the University of Washington, the Vice President for Education Services from the NCAA, and a sports agent for professional basketball players.• Facilitated the development of a student proposal to the city of Seattle to host the championships for an international basketball tournament.
