This included supporting the priority actions as set out in the Climate Emergency Skills Action Plan and contract managing both academic and consultancy, led research.I worked closely alongside the Scottish Funding Council to inform skills alignment by developing improved insights to help understand the demand and supply of skills across a range of sectors and regions in Scotland. This included playing a leading role in the collaboration between Skills Development Scotland and the Scottish Funding Council to help increase the supply of skills to meet the needs of employers providing early learning and childcare in preparation for the Scottish Government's policy expansion programme.I also provided SDS sponsorship support to a student enrolled on the organisation's successful PhD programme. -

I was also responsible for forecasting expenditure on newly devolved social security benefits and services. I undertook forecast evaluations and had a leading role in the publication of the Commission's first ever Statement of Data Needs in response to recommendations made by the Scottish Parliament's Economy, Jobs and Fair Work Committee. -

I also developed and published the quarterly Retail Sales Index for Scotland statistics.🚔 Justice – I was the lead statistician for Recorded Crime in Scotland, Police Strength and Firearm Certificates in Scotland statistics. -
