David started writing at the Groundlings Theatre in 2010. Curious to see if anyone was actually reading his writing samples, he began submitting an absurd sketch packet for a made up 1970’s comedy duo, “Tomato Face and Jew.” Inside each submission he included a loose cigarette and a video of what he would be like in a writers room. This led to the pilot, “The 70’s Guys” which led to his first literary reps. Since then he's worked in TV as a staff writer, story editor, and co-producer, as well as writing original material
