Following the acquisition of the DHL Domestic operation by Home Delivery Network my role was to significantly increase the size and effectiveness of the DHL@Home courier network in order to absorb an increase in volumes. Successfully forging a national network of self employed couriers to deliver the DHL@Home service for deliveries to residential addresses. Worked closely with key business stakeholders, colleagues and unions in order to overcome a cultural mistrust of the project objectives. Ensuring there was strong leadership and and inclusive collaborative approach to the project from the outset ensured its successful launch.
