Served as City Engineer and assistant City Engineer for several small communities in the Central Valley. Designed and prepared specifications for water wells, water systems, street maintenance projects, sewer projects (including lift stations), and storm water projects.Other duties included plan check, legal descriptions, legal description exhibits, project management, grant applications, Caltrans coordination, USDA coordination, and State Water Resources Control Board coordination. Developed and implemented a $6 million Arsenic mixing project for the City of Lemoore. The project included 2 new water wells, 5 miles of new water lines, two buster pumps, and a new water storage tank. The project was grant funded through the ARRA program.Designed and project managed the installation of a new water system for the Plainview Service Area. The project included the installation of water lines, water meters and a new well with a hydrostatic tank.Designed and managed the Farmersville Boulevard Widening Project. This project was funded with Federal and State Money through the STIP process. The project widened the road from two lanes to five including a continuous left turn lane. The project also included the widening of a bridge over Deep Creek.Designed, managed, and secured funding for a water line extension into a County area that was experiencing water wells going dry. The project extended City of Farmersville water lines through a county area, installed fire hydrants, and extended the water line so that a loop system was created.
