Duties:Team leader for the Paper Machines and shipping department. My main focus is on safety, production and customer quality. Duties:I was hired as a hourly production employee after Boise Cascade had shutdown and later became a hourly Shift Supervisor. I supervised the converting plants and 3 tissue machines as well as the shipping department. I used SAP to check shipping loads and also ran month end inventory reports against SAP totals. Duties:My duties as a Shift Supervisor were to manage the safety and production of 4 paper machines, shipping, wet lap, power and recovery, pulp mill, bleach plant and the chips area. Duties:I started on the paper machines as a sixth hand and eventually worked my way all the way up the ladder to the point i was training machine tender. I was involved in many projects during my time on the machines including speed trials on the machine and new trial plans. I was a leader on the paper machine for my crew and i also enjoyed training.
