o Oversee all aspects related to Medical Staff Services Office (MSSO), including credentialing, FPPE/OPPE, proctoring, Medical Staff Leadership elections, Medical Staff budget, and any other topics within the MSSO.o Review and monitor practitioner activity to ensure continued competency and suggest areas of vulnerability due to low practitioners’ competency.o Manage practitioner quality assurance and performance improvement activities, reporting on their respective statuses at monthly Medical Board meetings. o Work closely with the Health Information Management department to ensure regulatory compliance with physician hospital note completion. o Maintain, update, and act as authority for governance documents such as Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, Credentialing Manual, and Fair Hearing.o Ensure Medical Staff compliance with State Department of Health, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Joint Commission, and National Committee for Quality Assurance standards. o Process, maintain, and end Disaster Privileges during COVID-19 pandemic in accordance with hospital bylaws and Joint Commission standards. o Oversee the preparation of minutes for Credentialing Committee, Medical Board, Medical Staff, Departmental, and Sectional meetings and their dispersion to leaders and governing body. o Work with Administration for strategic onboarding of new service lines. o Coordinate the orientation and onboarding of new Medical Staff practitioners.

Ensure all attendings’ clinics are operating at optimal efficiency, coordinate operations of the clinic for all patients between the Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient, and Outpatient programs ensuring proper scheduling as well as ensuring that insurance denials are processed timely and that the attending physicians properly code and close their respective encounters.

o Establish and maintain business plan as well as operational budget for division of Addiction Medicine and coordinate with all other divisions to orchestrate appropriate consultations and referrals. o Ensure all attendings’ clinics are operating at optimal efficiency, coordinate operations of the clinic for all patients between the Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient, and Outpatient programs ensuring proper scheduling as well as ensuring that insurance denials are processed timely and that the attending physicians properly code and close their respective encounters. o Develop and implement goals and strategies to successfully grow and build the Division of Addiction Medicine.

o Manage the everyday payments and aging accounts receivable for patients participating in both the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs. o Oversee and audit the daily charges, invoices, and payments of the patients participating in both the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs. o Maintain and process accounts in work queues pertaining to insurance denials, refunds, account registration errors, claim errors, etc. o Present financial updates to Medical Director, attending physicians, and treatment team in daily briefings.o Work closely with Patient Financial Services regarding claim, insurance, self-pay, and reimbursement issues.
