I am very proud to be a Tutor for Kaplan/University of Essex Online and run the following Modules;Business Planning;Core Skills and Employability ;Financial Decision Making; H.R.M.; Introduction to Finance.My interaction with our Students is completely virtual, involving; facilitated/assessed Discussion Forums ,regular Q and A Sessions, together with my review/grading of their assignments.My passion is to optimise each Student's learning experience, providing detailed feedback on their assessed submissions and individual guidance via their reflective journals.I am also a Mentor to new members of our Tutor Team and work closely with each Mentee pre, during and after they have successfully delivered their first Module.

I have been a Distance Learning Tutor for I.CS. Learn for over 32 years.I am so proud to have worked with many thousands of students, from around the world,each one supported by me as an individual learner.My ongoing dialogue with my students is via Moodle,email,phone and workshops.My subject areas include;C.I.P.D (a range of modules at Levels 3,5 and 7) and 'A' Level Economics

I was delighted to be asked to work with the team at the University College of London and to take responsibility for the design,content and delivery of 2 MOOCs;MOOC 1; Management TechniquesMOOC 2; Professional Skills and NetworkingThese MOOCs were released early in 2017. This was a very exciting experience and involved authoring materials, assessments, conducting interviews and making presentations relating to specific aspects of each MOOC.I am delighted to say that so far these MOOCS have had almost 17000 student enrolments and have been very well received by our global audience.

I was a Tutor/Examiner in Economics (Levels 4 and 5) and Managing People (Level 4).These roles involved daily interaction with my students and peer tutors. My priority was always to facilitate maximum levels of student engagement and learning. This was achieved primarily via my facilitation of discussion forums, running webinars and critiquing/offering supportive feedback on assignments/other assessed submissions.

I was delighted to co-author, with my son Oliver, a Study Guide for the 'Dynamic Business Environments' Module ( Level 4). This study Guide supports students learning about the complexities of an organisations' ever changing interrelationship with the internal and external environments. The Study Guide considers several economics philosophies, marketing strategies and methods of understanding and analysing the environment context. The Guide also explores how the external and internal organisational environments interact and become mutually dependent.Our primary objective is to facilitate the enjoyment of our students' learning as they progress through this balanced conceptual and pragmatic Module.

Whilst working for C.I.P.S.I was an Examiner in several Teams, including; Leadership and Influencing in Purchasing (Level 6);Marketing (Level 6) and Negotiation Skills (Level 4).Most recently I was an examiner in the Leadership in Procurement and Supply Module (Level 6) and also a Case Study Author

I was involved in several roles with the ifs including; Course/Distance Learning Tutor and Lead Tutor. I have also authored 2 Books for the ifs and several series of Modular material.Specialist subjects include; Commercial Environment(Level 5):Organisation and Management (Level 5) Customer Relationship Management(Level 4);; Marketing, Sales and Customer Service(Level 4), and Work Based Learning(Levels 4,5,6)

I have successfully run several Training Events at the International Banking School in Kuwait and enjoyed the experience of working in a very different learning environment, both culturally and attitudinally. The subject areas I have delivered include; Marketing and Marketing Credit Cards.

I thoroughly enjoyed my Career with the Lloyds Banking Group. I was privileged to work, at Senior Management level in several different areas including; Branch Banking; Corporate and Social Responsibility; H.R.; Operations; Training (as a Senior Trainer and as a Regional Training Manager)I particularly enjoyed working in the prevailing internal and external environments of constant and transformational change which remains the norm in the Financial Services Sector.
