These designs are developed right the way through until construction and completion.My responsibilities include: • Leading and supervising interior design projects. • Reviewing and checking deliverables produced by the wider design team.• Providing advice, guidance and direction to the design team, consultants, specialists, contractors and subcontractors with regards to interior design deliverables and concepts.• Managing the successful delivery of interior design concepts and construction information, including the presentation of deliverables and ideas to the client and contractor.• Programming tasks related to the delivery of interior design information and estimating resource to carry out such tasks in relation to project appointments, assessing possible impact on fees and project status. • Assisting in the preparation of submissions/bid documentation.• Attending bid defences and client meetings presenting design concepts. • Maintaining a good technical knowledge of common Terms of Appointment documentation and the responsibilities of interior designers (e.g. SFA/99 or equivalents).
