As the technical writer for the security team which developed Wells Fargo's proprietary web and mobile app security API, I composed blogs, developed internal sales/PR pitches, edited installation and user manuals for the API including XML editing, managed the team's SharePoint site - in the process helping to oversee its transition from SharePoint 2010 to 2013 - and wrote, directed and edited instructional videos for users of the API.

I create the content for all of Cloudbilt's communications, including web content, emails, social media messaging, digital and printed collateral, articles, blogs and more. Successfully landed clients radio interviews with WBT, WFAE, WBAV and WPEG, among other internet radio stations.• Monitored newswire for national ground-breaking stories and developed local angles.• Planned and gave seminars on public relations and on writing for professional publications: Fall 2007, Fall 2009.• Ghostwriting articles and columns for clients; these were successfully published in many major local and national publications, including each of the publications listed above, as well as Pros Communications, Training Magazine, ASTD Today and The North Carolina Journal For Women, among others.• Administrative duties which included bookkeeping, tracking press clippings and reporting project hours. • Pitching clients for public speaking appearances and arranging said appearances with organization heads. As Director of Media Relations for one of the longest running sketch comedy shows in Charlotte, I was responsible for all external communications including: • Press releases, story pitches and interview pitches• Successfully secured print interviews for company members in local publications including the Charlotte Observer, Creative Loafing, Charlotte Business Journal, Charleston City Paper and Charlotte Magazine.• Successfully secured several radio interviews for company members, most often with WBT 1110 AM.• Successfully coordinated two television interviews for company members, both on WBTV.• Successfully coordinated a segment of “Wilson’s World” on Fox News Rising featuring company members, promoting both the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center and The Light Factory’s George A. Romero film festival.• Coordinated an ongoing relationship with the Blumenthal’s Education Department during Maria Quant-Young’s tenure there. Relationship was initiated by Maria and by Douglas Young.

Taught Beginning Dramatic Writing (playwriting) at the undergraduate level to 16 students. Each student wrote several monologues and scenes as well as a one-act play during the six-week summer session; at semester's end, students cast their plays for a series of public readings held over the course of two evenings.
