Limited PartnerPanther Racing Apr 1999 - Mar 2001Limited partner of IRL racing Car. We had two drivers while being a partner owner. From my personal opinion, Scott Goodyear and Sam Hornish Jr. Both were a pleasure to have as drivers and very personable to be around. The main Partner John Barnes is one of the most knowledgeable and expert in the field of racing. Doug Boles was a great mentor in the team in helping me learn the "in's and out's". Also, Doug is also a recognized person who has influenced racing as a whole in promoting it professionally and his personal life. Mike Griffin was the calm in every situation and conversation. Always motivating the team forward.Jim Harbough was fun to hang around and get to know. Playing Professional football, he was a recognized celebrity that enhanced the team's profile. Obviously, he's gone from a Quarterback to a well respected coach.Sam Hornish Jr. Incredible, pleasant, driving for perfection and overall a solid person. He's second year in IRL, we had the pleasure of picking him up as a driver. Mr. John Barnes saw huge potential in the young man, (young at the time), and he out performed and exceeded our expectations. It was one of the most fascinating and exciting opportunities I had to be a part of in my life, but it's indicative of my life and desire to be around Winners and WIN. The whole team from Pit crew to owners lived that every day of their life and those two seasons proved it.http://www.motorsport.com/indycar/news/irl-hornish-reigns-supreme-in-superb-season/
