Lead the constitution of NCRSIC which sees the 8 State and Territory RBDMs and the Commonwealth take more of a collaborative approach to civil registration and identity management legislation, policies and initiatives for Australia. In addition to its primary purpose of promoting consistency and interoperability the NCRSIC has:• implemented national minimum data sets for life event registrations• delivered a single data management framework to simplify information release • delivered the systems, governance and legal frameworks required to consolidate, commoditise and release national death data for the purpose of data cleansingAs Chairperson of NCRSIC I am requested to present at a range of industry and government forums on identity, information release and public sector reform. I was invited to be a lead discussant at the inaugural UNESCAP meeting on CVRS improvements for Asia and the Pacific in Thailand. Having my presentation translated to the 400+ government, Private and NGO attendees from 40+ countries at the UN in Bangkok remains a career highlight.More recently the strategic partnerships and negotiations I have cultivated and lead from this role have seen both the NCRSIC and myself realise a number of significant achievements. From an National RBDM perspective the Australian Data and Digital Council's endorsement of the "birth of a child" and digital birth certificate initiatives will drive significant efficiencies and benefits for parents by streamlining Commonwealth and State enrolment processes. Additionally my appointment to the NSW Government's Department of Customer Services' Transformation Board in a independent advisory function is a clear indicator my reputation as a leader in contemporary public sector change and something I am extremely proud of.

95 FTE, $14M Operating BudgetResponsible Officer for Queensland's Civil Registration, Certification and Vital Statistics contributionsExecutive Sponsor and Board Member – RBDM Revitalisation ProgramBoard member and senior advisor to Government on a range of identity management, information privacy, service modernisation, national statistics and civil registration strategies, polices and initiatives.Key Achievements:Successful negotiation and implementation of a commercially focused business model for RBDM Operations. Implementation delivered immediate timeliness, quality and CX improvements to Queenslanders and provided the financial and resource foundations necessary for RBDM’s further modernisation aspirations. Secured the investment required for the 6 year, $22M RBDM Revitalisation Program. Headlined by the digitisation of 6M+ life event records and the delivery of a range of customer centric online services the Program has firmly positioned RBDMQ as a leader in contemporary public sector service delivery. Some of the high level benefits attributed to the commercialisation and the program include:• 85% of life registrations are now submitted online• 75% of life event certificates are now ordered online• Time taken to register events has reduced from 8 weeks to an average of 4 days• Less than 3% of certificates produced now require manual transcription• Transferred 2.7 km of records to State Archives• Rebranded and launched a free online Family History Search site• Established partnerships with business and NGOs to provide over 15K in free certificates to vulnerable Queenslanders• Established a community engagement program to address under-registration and identity issues for remote and regional Queenslanders• Created new product lines in excess of $2M• Enabled full participation in Commonwealth’s online document validation service

Managed a team of Accountants responsible for the provision of client specific financial advice and guidance to Departmental Heads and their Finance representatives. The team was created with the primary goal of getting Non Accountants to understand and use financial information in their daily operations. My clients included Director-General, Finance Committee, Heads of Jurisdictions and the Chief Magistrate.
