In addition to its primary purpose of promoting consistency and interoperability the NCRSIC has:• implemented national minimum data sets for life event registrations• delivered a single data management framework to simplify information release • delivered the systems, governance and legal frameworks required to consolidate, commoditise and release national death data for the purpose of data cleansingAs Chairperson of NCRSIC I am requested to present at a range of industry and government forums on identity, information release and public sector reform. I was invited to be a lead discussant at the inaugural UNESCAP meeting on CVRS improvements for Asia and the Pacific in Thailand. Having my presentation translated to the 400+ government, Private and NGO attendees from 40+ countries at the UN in Bangkok remains a career highlight.More recently the strategic partnerships and negotiations I have cultivated and lead from this role have seen both the NCRSIC and myself realise a number of significant achievements.
