Three are important public safety issues that have become epidemic in nature.First and foremost, I have been developing a comprehensive plan to help stop the veteran suicide epidemic. Many people have spent hours,"studying veteran suicide." However, no one has made a dent in the numbers. I have reached a point where I have an immediate action plan.Secondly, the number of motor vehicle fatalities in Texas has, over the last few years, become of high priority to reduce. Currently, I have a possible solution to reduce the number drastically that could be incorporated rather quickly and effectively. For those that are unfamiliar the number of fatalities was approximately 3,531 in 2016.My third and final project has been the epidemic killing many people in the Northeastern States (although not exclusively.) This of course is the heroin epidemic. Of the three mentioned this one may have the potential to grow to a potentiality greater problem. The financial and ethical use of Narcan has become a great debate and problem. This project is still underway but I do have some stop blocks that could be a start to a permanent solution.Please note: This summary is under construction, as well as it's author's thoughts....
