Engineer, AutoCAD Draftsman, Machine and Panel Builder – small company\lots of hats! I was hired to start-up an Integration and Panel Building division. We have successfully designed and built a wide variety of UL508A control panels and machines: Heat Seal Machines (contact lens packaging), Safety Systems (a comprehensive safety upgrade to existing robotic systems), Dryer System (medical device manufacturer [mfr.]), Molded Wafer Machine (semiconductor mfr.), Automatic Lens Inspection System (contact lens mfr.), Coffee Roasting and Conveyance Systems (retail coffee shop), and many more.

In the process of helping a friend remodel his condo, I ended up working in the Trades for a while. I replaced the circuit breaker panel and all the other electrical work under his Electrical Contractor’s license (so my work was inspected). Afterwards I ended up working full time on this Electrical Contractor’s crew. That was until a General Contractor stole me away and I handled all his electrical work and quite a bit of plumbing. While I enjoyed working in the Trades, I missed Engineering: dealing with the greater swirl of complexity and making things work; so, I returned to Engineering.
