Infoxchange (www.infoxchange.org) is a not-for-profit social enterprise that has delivered technology for social justice for over 25 years. With over 100 staff across Australia and New Zealand Infoxchange tackles the biggest social challenges through the smart and creative use of technology. The company works with community, government and corporate partners to solve family violence, homelessness, mental health and issues facing people with disabilities, the elderly, Aboriginal, Maori and Pasifika communities. Infoxchange’s products and services are used by over 7500 organisations across the community sector. It provides the right tools to improve efficiency and deliver greater impact – from nation-wide service coordination systems to IT advice for individual organisations. Infoxchange’s community programs focus on digital inclusion with the driving belief that no-one should be left behind in today’s digital world. It uses technology to improve the lives of vulnerable people, driving social inclusion and creating stronger communities.

Founding CEO of Lorica Health (www.loricahealth.com) from 2009-2014 and a non-executive director on the Board (2014-2019). Lorica was acquired by Nasdaq-listed HMS which was in turn acquired (in April 2021) by the US venture capital backed businesses, Gainwell and Cotiviti.

The Digital Health CRC (Cooperative Research Centre) will invest over $200 million to develop and test digital health solutions that work for real patients in real hospitals and health services, while equipping Australians to better manage their own health and wellness. The Centre will operate through a multi-national collaborative R&D programs involving 40 commercial and government organisations operating across the health, aged care and disability sectors, 24 established and start-up technology, advisory and investment companies, and 16 Australian universities. The Centre has the support of both the Australian Digital Health Agency and the Medical Technologies and Pharmaceuticals industry growth centre (MTP Connect). The DHCRC will spawn new companies and products, foster a new digital health workforce and forge new national and international partnerships. A key objective is to generate at least 1,000 new jobs in the health and medical technologies sector.

Provide oversight of CMCRC's tech spin-offs. Actively managed the merger between our CMSS spin-off and SMARTS to form SMARTS Group and CMT's involvement in the sale of SMARTS Group to NASDAQ OMX.

One of three partners in a boutique consulting firm. Undertook extensive e-government, e-commerce and security/privacy consulting assignments for large private sector companies and government agencies at local, state and federal level, particularly in the health, education and social services areas.

Founding CEO of Australia’s largest privately-held electronic trading consulting firm, ETC Electronic Trading Concepts, which was acquired in 2000 by an ASX-listed technologies group (now part of Verizon). During the 7 years, led over 500 assignments in the areas of private and public sector electronic trading and service delivery, including over 50 large scale national (public and private sector) technology initiatives. Appointments to the European Union’s Global Business Dialogue on the Information Economy, the Australia-Singapore Joint IT Council, the Australian Government’s National Authentication Expert Group, and IT Security Expert Advisory Group, and the National Electronic Health Transition Authority’s Privacy Roundtable.
