During a thirty-seven year career in public safety, twenty-four in senior executive roles, I developed my skills in Leadership, Change Management, Crisis Management, Strategic Planning, Budget processing, Investigations, Coaching, Public Safety, and Emergency Management. I successfully implemented change both inside and outside of my workplace, receiving numerous forms of formal recognition, and achieved demonstrated recent changes of fiscal oversight and accountability within my roles as Chair of PRIME Corp Board of Directors and the and Executive member of the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police.Currently I'm leading the safety and security planning for the FIFA World Cup 2026, on behalf of the City of Vancouver. The scope of responsibilities includes integrating public safety and private security plan and resources from numerous agencies including: police, fire, ambulance, Emergency Planning, Private Security and Provincial Health Authorities. Further I have developed exceptional skills with investigations conducted in relation to administrative procedures that have been highlighted by my involvement within the BC Police Act, Municipal Bylaw adjudications and as Judicial Chair for BC Soccer. Practical experiences complimented by education including, Master of Laws degree (Osgoode Law School) have provided myself with the skills to investigate, mediate, or adjudicate complex and serious conduct allegations including, corrupt practices, sexualized misconduct, and use of force. My extensive experience within administrative procedures incudes conducting hearings, both with and without legal counsel, and providing written decisions on complex matters. I have provided professional witness services on the application and processes of the BC Police Act and recruitment practices associated within policingGraduate of Simon Fraser University, Queens Executive Business School and Douglas College.
