  As the Information Security Officer I am responsible for ensuring policies and procedures are in place to cover all aspects of ICT systems and Information security in accordance with the organisations business needs and the requirements of our ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management Systems and to ensure that the organisation processes the personal data of its staff, customers, providers or any other individuals in compliance with the applicable data protection rules.Key responsibilities include:• Evaluating user needs and system functionality and ensuring that our ICT facilities meet these needs;• Planning, developing and implementing the ICT Systems on a company wide basis to meet with our business needs and client requirements.• Scheduling upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems;• Researching and installing new programs;• Overseeing the smooth running of all ICT systems, including anti-virus software, print services and email provision;• Ensuring that users adhere to software licensing laws;• Ensure that ICT information security requirements are communicated to all relevant parties.• Providing secure access to the network for internal and remote users;• Securing data from internal and external attack;• Offering users appropriate support and advice;• Develop Business Continuity Plans and Risk Assessments to maintain critical business functions in the event of a disruption to IT services.• Mentoring and training new ICT support staff;• Keeping up to date with the latest technologies.• Ensure that our ICT security policies and procedures are regularly reviewed to assess their ongoing suitability and effectiveness to meet the requirements of our ISO 27001:2013 ISMS• Provide ongoing IT support throughout WA Group• Ensure that the organisation processes the personal data of its staff, customers, providers or any other individuals in compliance with the applicable data protection rules.
