I began my career in a large firm environment. My current role affords me the opportunity to see how a small boutique firm is managed. As a key member of the fixed income team in a smaller firm, I am able to work closely with internal colleagues of all levels. I also enjoy communicating with outside colleagues such as rate strategists, traders, and credit analysts.Client-FirstMy expanding responsibilities over the years have been a source of pride. After starting in a more administrative role and learning from various PMs, I adopted and improved various processes and made them my own. I am a proponent of putting the client's needs first and seeing my work from their perspective. This has carried over to my thoughts and philosophy on strategy, trading, as well as client reviews and communication. Becoming the senior PM at one point in my career, while also expanding AUM was a source of pride and one of the ways I have measured my success. After completing my MBA in 1994, a new door opened within the asset management division, a new growth phase I valued. I completed the CFA program in 2004, and years later, decided the CIPM program would give me greater insight into risk management so that I could continue the learning process.I'm always interested in reconnecting with old friends and colleagues.
