Effective management of energy, gas and water consumption to reduce operational costs. 39 k Euro savings/month through cost reduction activities.Supervise the incident investigation process including root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are completed. Conduct Facilities System audits and risk assessments and evaluates work methods, procedures and policies to ensure world-class standards are attainable.Responsible for building teams, developing employees, performance management, training, and overall supervision of technicians. Document, track, counsel and discipline employees when performance issues occur.Responsible for REC Plant capacity expansion projects. Responsible for drafting the scope of work, reviewing tender submissions and awarding of projects to successful contractors .Review consultants designs, construction plans, specifications, bills of quantities and other documents relating to the project. Monitor submission of technical proposals and shop drawings by Contractors. Submit reports to site management team to review the progress and cost of the Project, explain causes of the deviations and make recommendations for corrective actions and likely cost impact. Control the budget and schedule for the Project and use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the Project is completed within budget and on time. Coordinate with the contractor and consultants to secure all necessary permits required for the full completion and operation of the project. Monitor the preparation and submission of as built drawings and the rectification of defects and outstanding work.
