Experienced in the oil and gas industry in engineering manager, design engineer, project engineer and project coordination roles and have experience working with global teams.I currently work as the Engineering & Technical Manager for Safewell Solutions in Banchory, Scotland. Previously I managed a team of engineers and technicians to provide high quality products for OceanTools customers. I was also a part of the quality management team that met regularly to review practices and processes and make improvements as required. I created and updated documentation such as tooling manuals, test procedures and build guides, plus reviewed and updated part and assembly drawings. Additionally, I worked on tooling designs from concept to completion, managed projects and helped plan and allocate workloads.I was employed in the Middle East as a project coordinator where I focused on large projects that involved coordinating crew and equipment on several vessels per project at any given time. I was involved in the movement of resources between global regions and responsible for accurate cost and revenue tracking over all department projects in the region as well as being a customer point of contact.Previously I worked as part of an engineering team to design sub sea tooling. I was involved in every aspect of the project, from initial kick off meetings and concept work through to the tool build and test.Before this I focused on project engineering as part of a team that dealt with multiple projects simultaneously. These were typically small, quick turnaround projects, though the team also dealt with larger long term orders.Outside of work I enjoy going to the gym and playing table top strategy games and board games. I am a keen drummer, rock climber and kayaker and do these activities when I can.
