The plateroom system is responsible for the collection, checking and plate imposition of PDF content as automatically as possible. I compose and arrange music for all sorts of players. Works have been played by many groups, including the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, the Grainger Wind Symphony, the Australian Army Band Melbourne, Heidelberg Wind Ensemble, Oakleigh Brass, Maroondah Symphony Orchestra and Boroondara Symphonic Band.I also teach composition to selected students.I am published by Wirripang and by Musos Media.

Spondo, the trading name of RivusTV Ltd since 2012, specialises in the monetisation and syndication of digital content, in particular on-demand and live video. This required the design, development and ongoing maintenance of a flexible content management platform, to suit changing delivery and asset management technologies.I am responsible for the entire software architecture, the development of the system data management, and a significant part of the user interface. The ability to adapt quickly to different ways of delivering and storing content has been a tribute to the far-sightedness of the original architecture.I have also designed and built the data model and application server for RivusIQ, a corporate training and assessment system. I was responsible for all technical architecture decisions and the design and development of software.

My role was to investigate particularly thorny production requirements and design solutions for them. The highlights were the replacement of a monolithic queued OPI system by a dynamic processing module, and the redevelopment of plate generation to allow the News of the World to produce 42 editions in one night with increased colour content and printing to remote sites across Europe.
