• Lead a large multi-disciplinary team to develop and release the Connex Respiratory Monitoring system. This system upgraded the CVSM 6000 vitals device to include continuous respiration monitoring with a new Connex Central Station product. This product targeted at patients on general care floors that are at risk of respiratory distress. Included responsibility for the Central Station development, the monitor development, the service tool development, and integrated system performance. Development was completed by a geographically dispersed team. Onshore and offshore contract resources were used to supplement internal capabilities.• Lead a large development team to bring the CVSM 6000 vital signs device to market. This product is still selling above original revenue expectations with strong production yield. The cross functional team included 153 people spanning 5 different facilities. We delivered a great product for the company and created a team that was stronger at the end than when we started. Personally, responsible for system requirements and product architecture. I also retained management of the mechanical engineering department during this time. • Lead a small team of 20 in 2007 that refreshed the Spot Vital Signs 4200 product which was losing traction in its segment. Adding features, correcting issues, and refreshing aesthetic extended a struggling product through 2017.
