As a senior project manager I have general oversight of project aspects, duties and tasks that must be accomplished in construction. I organize, enable and delegate tasks and responsibilities to subordinate project managers, engineers, contractors, and laborers. My responsibilities cover a number of areas, including permitting, programming, design, and construction itself as well as commissioning, closeout and accreditation (if necessary). I have a deep understanding of each phase of the construction process, including architectural design, I communicate with architects, clients, vendors on materials and subordinate staff. Construction, Operations and Executive Management• Coordinated & programmed, built and delivered; through recruiting, equipping and training; the Air Force’s newest highly mobile civil engineer and construction response force to support contingency and special operations worldwide. • Commanded this self-sufficient, 204-person mobile unit capable of rapid response, exceptional planning, construction and independent operations in remote, high-threat environments worldwide with an operational budget of over $40M annually. • Trained emergency management capabilities and survival training, expeditionary medical capabilities along with fire marshal duties to unit population of over 1,000 people. Construction and Engineering Management• Commanded section of 12 engineers and surveyors with a $9M annual construction program. Construction, Engineering and Project Management• Led over 80 craftsmen, 12 engineers, draftsmen, contracting officials and production control call center with a budget of over $25M per year. While winning two DoE Energy Awards• Administered project review, utility contract management, energy management program, control room and energy management system operations, work analysis and methods improvements, 5-year infrastructure plans and work order management for a 530 facilities on 3,000 acre with a plant value of $1B. o Oversaw a 57-bed hospital with emergency room operations and a small separate clinic with mobile shot capabilities. Programmed, scheduled, tracked and commissioned all facility maintenance including the hospital.
