What have I learned in my career?In some ways, it’s hard to know where to start. But what I know for sure is that it revolves around relationships. I’ve enjoyed my roles in a B2B as well as B2C model, often also incorporating a leadership aspect. In all cases and with all of my roles, my success all goes back to relationships.When starting out, I had a notion of what building great professional relationships was about. The reality is that it takes time and experience (and maybe a few grey hairs) to really refine that craft.It’s my professional passion above all else. Getting to know what’s important to people and ensuring they understand what’s important to me. Setting clear, 2-way expectations and delivering on promises. Being proactive, not to tick a box, but with relevance. I will always work on that craft, to challenge myself to do it better, in the knowledge that it’s those relationships that fill my professional cup.
