• Ensured the smooth introduction of the Vivaro van production into the IBC production unit with the French Partner, Renault
• Successfully partnered with Renault to produce a high quality adaptive LCV into the market place where Vauxhall had not been represented for many years
• Spearheaded cross-functional initiative to achieve a common approach from GME and Renault at Design and Engineering levels to overcome start-up problems, and to improve quality in-line with expected CIP process
• Strengthened company’s business by leading implementation of approved core converter options supported and warranted by Vauxhall
• Worked directly with Renault to achieve a strong working relationship and a common goal for the success of the Joint Venture

• Key Responsibilities and Achievements:
• Accurate analysis of warranty data to determine problematic areas requiring further investigation
• Root cause analysis of vehicle problems
• Liaison with Design Engineers, Manufacturing staff, Planning groups, and more, to obtain corrective actions
• First off production vehicle preparation and support for Press Launch, including off site working and ensuring vehicle availability for Press review
• Working with quality departments and suppliers to improve component supply and quality

• Regular European and International travel to other production units and suppliers
• Responsible for the introduction of new car brands into GME European Plants
• Responsible for Engine and transmission introduction for V6, 16V, 1.6L, 1.8L, and 2.0L joint venture (Saab and Lotus) and internal design work
• Relocation of European production to South America, South Africa, and Far East to help promote growth
• Monitoring off shore vehicle production for Australian unit
