Same company, new name and a new challenge. I'm someone who sees opportunities everywhere! The past 8 years as CEO of Sota Packaging (re-branded as Zipform Packaging) has been an incredible journey deeper and deeper into the essential nature of packaging and how it can better serve us and our planet. I've always been committed to working with fibre and exploring ways we can utilize it's incredible versatility and sustainable lifecycle.I'm now working full time on developing and supporting customers in implementing commercial applications for our unique technology and skills!

As Co-founder and CEO, I successfully established Sota Packaging as a major packaging manufacturing and distribution business in ANZ. Sota has grown at an average Sales CGR of 23% and is the leading specialist paper composite packaging manufacturer in the world with a fully automated Sirpak linear forming body maker and Multipack paper closing line utilising three tool sets to produce more than 100 pack formats.

During this time, Dyson’s sales increased by 160% and the company became an important national supplier of packaging to the food service and food processing sectors. David was personally responsible for much of this business development and for introducing many exciting new products and manufacturing processes in flexible packaging.

During his time there Canning Vale's sales grew to in excess of $50M and David was personally responsible for the very successful launch of Canning Vale into the US market (representing 25% of total sales).
