I led, as the Project Manager, the very successful development of Foodstuffs South Islands Central Produce Distribution Centre. This changed the process of produce supply to our stores, from dealing with third party produce suppliers to direct grower/supplier relationships who delivered directly into our own new Central Produce Warehouse for distribution to members via our own transport network. Relationship building and management were key to the success of this aspect of the role.Quality Assurance - Customers want high quality products and service so systems that were missing, and are imperative to achieving this goal, were put in place to ensure this was achievabled and monitored.Team Management - Managing a team of 5 to ensure all of the above was achieved and the results exceeded the members expectations.
