Chambourcy Ville Fleurie is the association that works with the municipal council to promote the greening and flowering of the village. I am mainly involved in the group that is developing the communal cottage garden based on the principles of permaculture.

To support and advise EcoAgriculture Partners, which is an international association that strives for a world where agricultural communities manage their landscapes to simultaneously enhance rural livelihoods, conserve biodiversity and ecosystem services, and sustainably produce food.

The Maison des Loisirs de Chambourcy is the association which organizes cultural and leisure activities in the village of Chambourcy.

Preparation of the archives of the International Federation of Agricultural Producers (IFAP) for conservation at the Archives Nationales du Monde de Travail of France. Sorting the boxes of archives and writing a detailed digital directory of their content.

Responsibilities include:• Follow international agricultural news and events and write briefs for members of SAF • Promote the work of the SAF in international forums• Contribute to strengthening SAF’s networks of experts internationally, developing relations, joint activities and visits by SAF leaders to advance to the work of SAF as a think-tank• Explore areas of common interest to promote “progress in agriculture” with agricultural societies and farmers’ organizations in Europe, and in particular with the DLG (German Agricultural Society) and the RASE (Royal Agricultural Society of England) • Organize joint seminars with the RASE (Royal Agricultural Society of England) on a regular basis to promote agricultural entrepreneurship and the “professionalization of agriculture”• Represent SAF in the meetings of ELO (European Landowners Organization) on the CAP (EU Common Agricultural Policy) and related issues.

Head of the permanent Secretariat of this worldwide farmers’ network of 112 national organisations of farmers. Responsible for preparing the organisation's policy positions to make sure that the voices of farm families are heard internationally. Participated in major UN Conferences to speak on behalf of farmers, including the Earth Summit in Rio in 1992, the World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg in 2002, and the UN Conference on Climate Change in Copenhagen in 2009. Served as Chair of the Committee for the Promotion and Advancement of Cooperatives (a joint UN-civil society body), a member of the World Bank Task Force on Commodity Risk Management, and a Council Member of the International Land Coalition.  Committee activities include representing the interests of farmers within the membership bodies of the Advisory Committee of the Sustainable Agriculture Initiative, the Board of Directors of AgriCord, and the International Agri-Food Network (of which he is a founding member).
