Program ManagerMarine Industrial Coatings Aug 2009 - Aug 2016Initially hired as a Project Manager but when the company faced a potential problem with losing all certifications to allow them to operate as a preservation company during the immediate departure of their QA manager, I was asked based off my past experience to step in. I took on the role of QA manager and corrected all the internal discrepancies and successfully passed every audit from SSPC and VSRA to allow the company to continue operating in the field of preservation for Maritime and bridge projects. A similar situation presented itself a year later when the estimator became ill. I stepped in and not only provided successful estimates that landed this company profitable work, but I also developed an excel spread sheet that self calculates and it is currently in use. The achievements described above eventually earned me the title of (Operation Manager and QA Director) for Marine Industrial coatings.

Resident Project Represenitive IiiTetra Tech Aug 2008 - Aug 2009I have brought to the attention of subpar documentation on the Oklahoma bridge de-leading projects. I have corrected their documentation and assured other RPR’s to follow suit. I have handled multiple projects without oversight that was profitable to Tetra Tech and on time. When not working on bridge projects in Oklahoma, I was tasked to tasked to provided PER (Preliminary Engineering Reports) for the Texas office with the large task being 25 water tanks (ground storage, stand pipes and elevated) in 5 days . I also handled providing reports on house damaged caused by the hurricane that hit Houston for the Engineer. This included sketches and written description of the damage. When the lead engineer that I worked for and hired me developed cancer and was out of work, this was a large factor in my departure from Tetra Tech. He later passed away. He was not only a great supervisor but a great friend and person overall.

Preservation Program Manager/ Qa DirectorMarine Hydraulics International Sep 2001 - Jan 2006Started my career there as an inspector. Was tasked to develop the test and inspection plan for large projects and conducted every checkpoint on the ship from NDT, preservation to Hydrostatic testing as the lead QA. Learned all aspects of a major ship repair and was able to inspect structural, piping, eclectic components, system components, diesel engines, and generators. Later, impressed by my performance and ability to handle multiple tasks effortlessly I was given the task of drafting ship entry and mooring to MHI shipyards on top of other duties regulatory preformed. This included mooring calculations of loads to the ship and chocks. During my time with MHI, I received employee of the month several times and was promoted to (Preservation Program Manager and Assistant QA Director). The CEO had moved on to better his life and the new CEO had a vision that only he was appreciative of. I severed ties with this company on good terms and was later asked to come back as QA Director during my employment to Tetra Tech, but respectfully refused due to my loyalty with my Tetra Tech direct supervisor.
