The Committee for Dulles is a dynamic community of business leaders, policy makers and influential individuals. Founded in 1966, the Committee plays a pivotal role in making Dulles the premier air travel service provider for the national capital region and an economic feeder for the business community that surrounds it.

On May 6, 2014 I once again was re-elected to the Herndon Town Council. I will now be serving my fourth term in office.

The Herndon Hospitality Association was launched in 2009 to promote the many wonderful attractions and benefits of spending time in Herndon, Virginia. Nestled in the western corner of one of the most affluent and fast-growing counties in the nation, Herndon offers a small-town atmosphere that is easily lost in the hustle and bustle of the sprawling suburbs. Located just minutes from Washington Dulles International Airport and only 30 miles from Washington, D.C., Herndon is in the heart of a thriving tourism industry.

The Virginia Municipal League is a statewide, nonprofit, nonpartisan association of city, town and county governments established in 1905 to improve and assist local governments through legislative advocacy, research, education and other services. The membership includes all 39 cities in the state, 156 towns and 10 counties. VML is governed by an executive committee made up of local government officials. The executive committee is elected by the league membership at the annual conference each October and provides overall guidance to the league staff. VML's policy and steering committees recommend positions for the league on issues of concern through development of annual policy statements. In addition, a legislative committee recommends a legislative program for adoption at the annual conference. VML consists of a 57-member staff headed by the executive director. The staff performs the ongoing functions of the league under the direction of the executive committee, the executive director and the VML policy statements and legislative program.
