Completed 22 years in the RAF Regiment, covering a variety of roles and tasks. Served on Rapier and field squadrons, with Deployments to the Falklands, Op Telic and Op Herrick. Also worked on a CBRN specialist unit. this role saw training and exercises at Portion Down UK and Dugway proving grounds Utah USA, we also provided specialist monitoring for the Bloomfield accident. Worked on a wing HQ with Deployments to Oman, Lithuania and Estonia. While working on the Wing the RAF was tested by NATO for the first time in 15 years. My role for this was to provide communications between the HQ and the troops on various taskings and act as a CBRN plotter. My final job was on a FP training flight providing the wider RAF with yearly weapon, CBRN and first aid training. I have recently started as a HGV class 2 driver working for P.C. Howard's warehousing and distribution.
