Company produced weather seals for multiple automotive OEMs

My group is responsible for designing and testing compressors for automotive applications. We are responsible for execution to customer requirements as well as warranty analysis. From our office we deal with suppliers and other Valeo sites in regions around the world

R&D Director for Valeo North America, Climate Control group. We design, test, and supply HVAC modules for Automotive and Heavy Duty OEM's.

Chief Engineer for Valeo's Thermal North America compressor group. My group is responsible for product application with various automotive customers in the United States. Current customers include both North American based OEM's and a Japan-headquartered OEM with offices in the U.S. We interact with suppliers and other Valeo production and engineering groups in Asia, South America and Europe.

Responsible for implementing Delphi Thermal's Zero Defect Launch strategy for all new programs. The position included traveling to multiple manufacturing sites both in the United States and Mexico to implement trial runs and metrics.

Position involved overall responsiblity for launching a complete vehicle A/C system for Toyota. This was the first A/C system awarded to a company in place of Toyota's traditional system supplier. Lead an international cross functional team that included members from multiple manufacturing sites including sites in Korea and Mexico. Several new processes were implemented to ensure a successful launch including supplier workshops and supplier Deep Dives. Team won the Delphi Thermal's Excellence award, given to one team annually.

Responsible for Global Capacity Planning as Delphi ramped up compressor production at multiple site around the world. A key component of the job was working with counterparts in Hungary, France, Brazil, Korea and the U.S. Organized and co-facilitated 2 Compressor Workshops that brought together (live) the global cross-functional compressor team to decide strategic direction. Was part of a different cross-functional team that developed and implemented Delphi Thermal's Product Manufacturing Location process, used to decide where a product should be made based on financial and strategic criteria. The position taught me a great deal about the financial side of the business.

Was chosen to be in Delphi Thermal's Wave 1 class. Class consisted of four 1 week training classes in Lean Principles separated by 3 weeks working on projects. After the training sessions I was assigned to work on various projects in compressor manufacturing and heat exchanger manufacturing

Product Engineer for the fixed piston swash plate type compressor

Worked on application of the compressor product to several Chrysler programs. The job included extensive interaction with Japanese staff located in the U.S. and Japan. As part of my training I spent 6 weeks in Japan learning directly from the company's experts
