I am currently the Head of Investments at Untapped Global, responsible for putting in place best practice processes and and ensuring that it is in line with Untapped’s Smart Asset Financing philosophy. Till date I am responsible for investing over 20+ Pilot deals and 6+ Scale Up deals. I am responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities in mainly Eastern, Western and Northern Africa as well as the the full venture debt investment process from market mapping, sourcing, structuring, due diligence to closing the investment and managing the portfolio.I have over 10 years of international Private Equity and Private Debt experience and a broad network in Emerging Markets. I have extensive experience in and enjoy working on complex strategic and financial assignments, analyzing different types of companies and sectors while at the same time rolling up the sleeves when required. In addition, my strengths are to interact and work efficiently with both senior executives and junior colleagues, and I thrive when I am working in teams with different professional and cultural backgrounds.I am also the Founder of Kanda Capital, which provides advisory services; providing fundraising material as well as financial and strategic advice to companies in emerging markets.
